TEL.A.VISION AT 2008 HCHY CONFERENCE
TEL.A.VISION partnered with the Search Institute during their 2008 HCHY (Healthy Communities Healthy Youth) Conference to help share the vision and stories of our communities and youth. The Search Institute engages local youth as leaders, emcees and facilitator’s for their conference. Many of these youth led the conference by creating TEL.A.VISION’s of their own.
Taylor Reed, a junior at Blake high school, and Frederick Huballa, a senior at Brooklyn Center high school, were the lead emcees for this 3-day conference. They opened the conference with their jointly produced video detailing their journey and vision. Take a look at their work with the United Nations, PeaceJam and the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates.
